52 Weeks of Collage, Week 32

 

Winter.

I kept this collage very simple.  For the background I added a little texture and color with modeling paste through a stencil.  Next I ran small splashes of white, blue and black along the edges of the texture.  If you don't have modeling paste joint compound or spackle or adding flour to white paint or white gesso will get similar results.  Also even simpler, multiple layers of gesso or white paint.  Experiment.  Its how we learn.
