52 Collages Week 50

 

STAR.

This week's collage started with a simple background of pencil and watercolor paint.  I didn't like how it came out and the beauty of mixed media is I smply covered it up with a layer of  torn book pages and gesso.

Next, I decided that I wanted to go for a very abstract interpretation of stars sparkling against a dark sky and a blue moon.

Week 50, Completed Collage.  Theme:  Star.
