52 Weeks of Collage, Week 4

Week 4:  Hexagon

Ahhh the lovely Hexagon.  What's not to love about it?  For this collage I decided to just have fun cutting out bunches of hexagons and arranging them however they wanted to be arranged.  This was so much fun!  I love playing with basic shapes because they are so easy and versatile.  Hexagons and squares and circles yayyyyy.  

Other ideas you could try is cutting hexagons with a theme, maybe all in one color or all fabric or all food.  Or making a hexagon background and building a collage inside of that hexagon.  Or playing with the letters of the word.  A collage of all words that make up the letters in hexagon would be fun.  A collage does not have to have pictures.  It can be all words.  Or it can be all color made with pens or markers or crayons.  Ahhhh there are color names that begin with the letter x!!!  Who knew!?!
