52 Weeks of Collage, Week 25

 

MOON.

May your Solstice be just the beginning of lovely star filled nights.

This moon inspired collage has most of the collage in the background!  It still counts as collage and/or mixed media art and/or art journaling.  You are the boss of what you label your art as.  

After completing the multiple layers of collage and paint; next I used white gesso to push that layer to the background.  The triple moon symbol was created from three pieces of handpainted papers and cut out.  Lastly I outlined the triple moon symbol with black graphite pencil and used a small wet paint brush to activate and spread out the graphite pencil.
